I stared at my closet and thought, “one pole, one shelf just isn’t working.” Clothes were stuffed together. Some clothes were dragging on the floor. Other clothes weren’t fitting in at all. There was wasted space above and below. And I needed drawers. 

 

In that moment, Jacki Melchior decided to launch her custom closets company, Sophisticated Storage Solutions. Shortly after, one of Jacki’s customers referred to the company as SSS Custom Closets, and the name stuck.
